Using refillable tanks, the HP Smart Tank 7602 is an all-in-one inkjet printer that works with HP 32 XL black and HP 31 color ink. It has an ADF and flatbed scanner, a three-inch touchscreen HP refers to as a “Magic Touch Panel,” and fax and copy functions. It supports Mopria Print Service, Apple AirPrint, HP’s Smart App, and Ethernet in addition to USB, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, and Wi-Fi.
For domestic use
As a family printer, the HP Smart Tank 7602 works wonderfully. All members of the family can use it thanks to its exceptional cost per print and variety of connectivity possibilities. Documents in black and colour print with remarkable detail and clarity. This printer has great scan quality, however it doesn’t have duplex scanning. Due to its limited colour gamut and difficulties with colour accuracy, this printer produces colour images that lack fine details and typically appear muted.
For office use
The HP Smart Tank 7602A is a fantastic printer for office usage. Its refilling tanks give a large number of pages in both black and colour prints, and it has an excellent cost per print. There are numerous maintenance features on this printer, and refilling the tanks is simple. While duplex scanning is not possible with the ADF scanner, the scan quality is still very good. Both colour and black & white documents appear professional. Printing speeds, especially in an office environment, may be improved.

OCR scanning can be used to produce searchable PDFs, and the scans are clear and full of tiny details. Nevertheless, scanning larger objects like textbooks may be challenging because the scanner lacks extended lid hinges.
Black and white printing
The HP Smart Tank 7602 prints in black and white with good quality. Black documents look fantastic since the text is readable and there is a nice contrast between the lighter and darker sections. This printer offers a great cost per print because it can print a large number of pages before needing to replace its black ink. Documents printed in black only print very slowly.
Photo printing
The HP Smart Tank 7602 produces high-quality colour photo prints. It prints a variety of photo sizes and accurately captures minute details in images. Since you can print a large number of images before running out of ink, the cost per print for photos is excellent. The colour gamut and accuracy are mediocre, though. Photos seem washed out and skin tones seem unnatural as a result.
