The Canon PIXMA TR150 is a small sized inkjet printer that’s perfect for travel. It should fit into a travel bag with ease because it is really light and compact. You can print with it even if there isn’t a power outlet nearby because to its rechargeable battery.
It offers excellent cost-per-print quality and high-quality photo printing, particularly for colour and photo printing. Its low page yield for text documents that are only in black means that you might need to replace the black cartridge frequently. You can only print on it because it lacks a sheetfed or flatbed scanner.
Domestic use
For family use, the Canon PIXMA TR150 is a poor choice. It doesn’t have a scanner and produces few black or colour pages, but it has an excellent cost per print, particularly when printing colour and photos. It creates images with decent detail, distinct colours, and a relatively authentic appearance.
Office use
When put into commercial usage, the Canon PIXMA TR150 is not a good fit. It prints documents quite slowly and yields few pages for both black and colour documents. Moreover, it lacks a scanner, which makes it unsuitable for offices.
For students
Students will find the Canon PIXMA TR150 a useful device. Its yield is modest, but it prints at a respectable cost per page for black papers; colour prints provide better results. You have multiple file formats that you can print from the mobile app, and you can print via Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi direct. However, one of the drawbacks of this printer is that it does support scanners or Bluetooth printing.
Black and white printing
Printing in black and white does not yield good results with the Canon PIXMA TR150. Although the cost-per-print for text documents with only black text is reasonable, it is not advised due to its poor black page yield, sluggish printing speed, and lack of a scanner.
Photo printing
The Canon PIXMA TR150 works well for informal portraiture. The images produced by this reasonably well-built model have sharp colours that are pretty true. Furthermore, it has a cheap cost per print, particularly for photographs. It is unable to print 2″ x 3″ photographs, however it can print 4″ x 6″ and 5″ x 7″ sizes.
