The Epson EcoTank ET-2400 is an all-in-one supertank inkjet printer which uses Epson’s 522 ink cartridges. It is compatible with Epson’s Smart Panel mobile companion software and features USB and Wi-Fi connectivity. It does not have a fax machine or an automatic document feeder, but it does have an 8.5″ by 11″ flatbed scanner. Additionally, it does not support automatic duplex printing, therefore in order to print double-sided documents, you will need to manually turn the pages.
Domestic use
The Epson EcoTank ET-2400 is highly recommended if you are looking for a printer for your family. Its low cost of new ink and excellent page yields make it quite inexpensive to maintain over time. Documents that are printed out appear crisp, and images that have some grain appear vibrant and detailed.
The scanner isn’t the best for scanning lengthy, multi-page documents because it doesn’t have an automated feeder, but it still generates high-quality scans. Additionally, it does not support duplex printing, therefore in order to print documents on both sides, you must manually turn the sheets.
Office use
For small offices, the Epson EcoTank ET-2400 is a respectable choice. It prints documents with a crisp appearance, and its ink tank holds thousands of prints. It does not, however, offer automatic double-sided printing and prints slowly. Moreover, there is no automatic document feeder to scan lengthy, multi-page documents rapidly, and the input tray can only hold 100 sheets of paper, so you will need to replenish it frequently.
For students
The Epson EcoTank ET-2400 is a great printer for students. Because of its extraordinarily high page yields, it generates papers of excellent quality and requires little maintenance. It is compatible with the Epson mobile app, which allows you to print, scan, and copy directly from your smartphone. It also features Wi-Fi and USB connectivity.
It does not, however, offer automatic double-sided printing and prints slowly. Furthermore, it is difficult to close the scanner’s lid over thicker objects like textbooks because the hinges on the lid do not extend.
Black and white printing
The Epson EcoTank ET-2400 prints documents in black and white with reasonable quality. It is incredibly economical, producing documents of excellent quality and having a huge ink tank that prints many pages. It does not enable automatic double-sided printing, though, and produces at a modest pace of just nine pages per minute. Its scanner can scan lengthy documents with several pages, however it does not have an automatic feeder.
Photo printing
The Epson EcoTank ET-2400 produces extraordinary quality when printing photos. You don’t have to worry about expensive maintenance because its ink tank can produce hundreds of prints and new ink is reasonably priced. Printed images appear vivid and highly detailed, despite some graininess. Regretfully, borderless printing can only be done on 4″ x 6″ paper, and it may have an impact on the print quality.
