The HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e is an all-in-one inkjet printer designed for home and office use. It uses HP’s 936 ink cartridges and has a four-cartridge system (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). In addition to printing straight from a USB flash drive, connectivity choices include Ethernet, USB, and Wi-Fi. It features a 250-sheet input tray, an automatic feeder with dual-pass duplex scanning capability, and an 8.5″ x11″ flatbed scanner. With HP’s ink subscription service, this model includes three months’ worth of complimentary ink.
For domestic use
The HP 9125e is ideal for family use. With so many connectivity possibilities, this all-in-one is simple for every member of the household to utilize. It is reasonably priced and high-yield ink cartridges allow you to avoid worrying about high running expenses. In addition to producing good scans, the scanner has an automatic feeder that can process lengthy or double-sided documents and does duplex scanning. When it comes to printing, it works great for documents but not so well for photos because of its poor print resolution and constrained colour spectrum, which lead to a noticeable loss of fine details and excessively dark images.
For office use
The HP 9125e works well for small business settings. With its various capabilities, including an ADF with duplex scanning, automatic double-sided printing, and Ethernet connectivity, this all-in-one printer creates crisp papers. It won’t need much maintenance because it also uses high-yield ink cartridges and has a sizable 250-sheet input tray. It is inconvenient if you don’t have enough room to put the printer next to the computer or if you need to share it with several people in your office because it can only print up to 18 pages of black and white documents per minute when connected via USB. Sadly, colour documents print slowly, and scans have skewed results due to its ADF.
For students
For students, the HP 9125e is an excellent option. Because of its high page yield and inexpensive cartridges, it prints lovely, high-quality documents at a very low cost each print. The printer is easily accessible from a variety of devices thanks to connections by Ethernet, USB, and Wi-Fi. It can even print straight from a USB thumb drive. Long, multi-page documents can be processed automatically using the feeder; however, it is a touch slow and results in skewed scans. The hinges on the scanner lid are technically able to flex to fit bigger objects, such as textbooks, but they are brittle and tend to pop out of their sockets quickly.
Black and white printing
While printing documents in black and white, the HP 9125e works fairly well. Thanks to its high page yield and 250-sheet input tray, this inkjet type creates incredibly sharp papers with minimal maintenance. It can print up to 18 pages per minute when connected via USB, but only seven pages per minute when connected wirelessly. It has a scanner with ADF and the ability to do duplex scanning. But, because it can only handle eight pages per minute and the automatic feeder creates skewed scans, it is a little slower than average.
Photo printing
The HP 9125e prints photos fairly well. Its high yield of colour prints combined with the affordable cost of new ink means that even with frequent printing, you won’t have to worry about expensive ownership costs. Its limited colour and low print resolution result in a noticeable loss of fine details, so the print quality isn’t great. Additionally, printed images appear unduly rough and warm.
