Heat and dye sublimation are the methods used by the Liene Amber M100 instant photo printer to create images. Unlike some other inkless printers, this one uses a cartridge with dye transfer films for cyan, magenta, and yellow instead of heat-sensitive ZINK sheets. Heat causes the colors to transfer onto a picture sheet. Compared to other instant photo printers, it is much bigger, but it features a separate input tray that can accommodate up to 20 photo sheets. This one, in contrast to the others, lacks a battery, so you can’t use it while traveling somewhere without access to a power outlet. But, if that was your goal, there is a version that has a battery.
For domestic use
The Liene Amber M100 is not suitable for family use as it can only print tiny photographs. This device works well if you already own a conventional printer and just need a small one to produce amusing pictures. Even if some colors aren’t exactly right, it prints incredibly detailed photos that still appear great.
For office use
For offices, the Liene Amber M100 is awful, but that’s because it’s not meant for this purpose. It’s an instant picture printer meant only for photo printing.
For students
When it comes to students who have to print essays and assignments, the Liene Amber M100 is awful. But, this is a fantastic option if all you’re looking for is a little, quick picture printer to print your memories on.
Black and white printing
For black and white printing, the Liene Amber M100 performs appallingly, but that’s because it’s not meant for this purpose. It’s an instant picture printer meant only for photo printing.
Photo printing
The Liene Amber M100 is a good option for photo printing. It is limited to printing on its own 3.9″ x 7.05″ photo paper. Pictures are fantastic, with excellent detail and minimal banding or graininess. Although gradients aren’t handled flawlessly, your photos of the sky will still turn out well. Certain colors, such as green and teal, differ slightly from what you see on your computer, but it won’t affect the quality of your photos.
